Discover Sonic View
Sonic View came out of the Midwest in late 2023, pulling from the heavy, emotional alternative rock that dominated the early 2000s, and dragging it into the present with zero nostalgia fluff. Distorted guitars, raw vocals, and tight, driving rhythms sit at the core of their sound, balancing grit and melody in a way that feels Like they’ve lived through it rather than nostalgia.
Sonic View features vocalist Bryan Encalada, Franko Torres on guitar, JJ Smith on bass, Thomas McLaughlin on keys and Rhythm guitar, with session drummers adding weight and movement. Drawing from years of touring and studio experience (including members opening for multiple big acts (P!ATD, Stryper, Firehouse, and more) in previous projects; the band handles its own writing and production, keeping the process hands-on and honest, without any shortcuts.
Sonic View exists to create connection through sound and shared experience. Their music leans into vulnerability, tension, and release, offering a place to feel something real in a culture increasingly built on noise and division. The band is currently releasing singles from their debut album, In Noise We Trust, out March 31.
